## How the calculator works

- Inputs, set with sliders: number of company cards, average transactions per card per month, employee time to find, collect, enter and settle one document, employee hourly cost, accountant time to handle one card transaction, share of transactions with a KSeF invoice, accountant time to find out whose KSeF invoice it is, accountant hourly cost.
- Transactions per month are the number of cards times the average per card.
- Fixed assumption: with Cardlink the invoice is already in the app, and the employee spends 30 seconds checking the cost centre and approving the expense.
- Fixed assumption: with Cardlink handling one card transaction in accounting takes 2 minutes, because the transaction arrives with its document and a ready booking.
- Fixed assumption: 95% of documents assign themselves to the right person, so the accountant spends no time on them.
- Result: monthly and yearly savings, fewer working hours per month, 3-year ROI, 3-year net present value and months until the setup pays back. The cost of Cardlink is included in the result.
- Method modelled on Forrester Total Economic Impact (https://www.forrester.com/policies/tei/): savings in money reduced by 10% for risk, a 3-year horizon, a 10% yearly discount rate, setup paid at the start. The calculator is not a Forrester study.
